Active Constituents

  • Active ingredient: 25 g per L of spinosad, a member of the spinosyn class of insecticides.

Indications

Extinosad provides short-term protection from blowfly strike on sheep including strains that are resistant to organophosphates. Extinosad also effectively treats lice on wool strains resistant to synthetic pyrethroids. The withholding periods are 35 days for milk and nil for meat and wool.
